This CPACC Preparation Course teaches the different theoretical models of disability that commonly drive public, and private, sector approaches to disability inclusion in society, the workplace, as well as the consumer marketplace. Participants learn about different disabilities, common challenges associated with those disabilities, and relevant assistive technologies. It also teaches the importance of gathering disability demographic data. It demonstrates the common methods used to collect that data, and the types of reports it typically generates.
